These are only parts of the drive but are bound to make me wish I could shoot up some dramamine.
4 hour drive to get to a 14,200+ elevation.

Damn. If I had actually checked ahead of time, we could've been staying in Denver instead. But if I had checked ahead of time, we probably wouldn't be going to CO in the first place. At least not this weekend.
We begin at the Trails Ridge Road. I've read it was pretty awesome. And it's actually shorter to drive through the Rocky's/Rockies(?) then to go back to the main roads. I'm sure the main roads are safer. There are no guardrails on the highways. FUN!
So, I'm at about 800-1000 ft elevation right now. What's 13000 more? :D But to put things into perspective, the hill/mountain outside my window is 1200. The Azusa "A" is around 1400. Around school, 1600. And around Big Bear, 7000.
