I think it's safe to say that I've had knee problems since around senior year in high school. I've gotten xrays and MRI's, and my filipino family physician tells me it's arthritis. I give up.
I pick up some magazine at a Jamba and there's an article on runner's knee. Basically, the arch of your foot has a big impact on the alignment of your knee. Sure enough my left arch is lower than my right. But have I always had bad arches?
And now I realize, it wasn't until about junior year that I started dressing decently. I used to only have my one pair of sneakers that I used year round until the next school year. Or, at the very least, more shoes, just all sneakers (I was a baller like that). And so my change in style/wardrobe is probably what precipitated my knee problems!!! You know, because I started buying more fashionable shoes. And of course, none of those have arch support for some reason. Oh the price your feet pay for style. My poor knees.
The world is starting to make sense. My plantar fasciitis. My knees. My body isn't dying on me after all. It's that damn genetics again.
