127 Hours tonight and I'm so glad I did. I've never watched a movie that made me cringe, laugh, yearn and cry. There was a lot of cringing by the way. I'm pretty sure I covered my ears and closed my eyes for an entire scene. I glance at Krusty and her scarf is covering her face. I peak at the screen when it feels safe and nudge Krusty an
it's okay to look now. There was a point somewhere in the beginning where I thought, "wow.. this is going to be the rest of the movie, huh??" And yep. But it was so much more. I don't cry happy tears. It's usually the gut wrenching scenes that make me cry. But I couldn't help it. I wanted to cheer him on and clap and jump around saying, "Yay!"
Plot aside, WOW! Canyonlands FTW. It was incredibly clear. The views and shots were breathtaking. I loved the way it was filmed. Some scenes were a little like forgot the word for it but a little like claymation. If anything, watch it for the cinemetography. I don't even know if that's the right word but I'm going to use it.
