I went outside to kind of just hang out. As I was walking back to the front door I see a spider just floating. I start freaking out. I know the web is connected to the tree, but I don't know what else. And I'm standing there for five minutes debating whether to walk past it again or wait for someone to come home and open the garage. What if I break the web??? And the spider swings and hits me?! So I'm just studying the web as closely as I can and finally decide to just run past it.

| From the corner of my house, zoomed out. |
 |
| This is the best shot I could get of the web. |
 |
| I was shaking. It was shaking. I don't think either of us were comfortable. |
Edit: Thanks to
http://www.termite.com/spider-identification.html#orbweaving, I identified this is an
orb-weaving spider. It wasn't the first site I went to. It should've been. I've been looking at images of spiders and trying to describe it. And I've been shaking my leg up and down more than I ever have before, including pre-exams. I've never been this nervous. And the fact that I just took a shower and my hair is drying every which way around my face isn't helping.
