Ugh!

Running fail!  I think the harder I try, the worse I get.  And the same goes for school too.  I studied so hard for those midterms last week and I completely bombed them.  And to make things extra awesome, I dumbly decided to "hike" one of the trails around Bonelli.  It was pretty nice actually.  It was cloudy, but there was plenty of sunlight.  And if there weren't so many trees, it'd probably look like Ireland.  I can say this because I've seen PS, I Love You and Leap Year.  What I failed to take note of was the extra muddy trail.  I didn't notice until I looked down and my shoe is surrounded by mud.  It just kept building around my shoe with each step.  You know when you make candles in grade school, and you have to keep dipping the wick in.  At first it's still tiny, but if you do it long enough, it starts to get thicker.  That was my shoe.

Of course I peeled some of it off before getting back into the car, but if you know what the bottom of these shoes are supposed to look like, you'll know how much mud is really packed in there.

I give up.

I did, however, get in my 45 min. of moderate physical activity :)  But still.. I need to be able to run that trail. I didn't even get close today.  So to make up for my failed attempt, I'm going to go to the smaller, more populated, park down the street.
