spring break!!!

If today was the best my spring break ever got, I think I'd be okay with that.

I was running late to meet Amanda at school, so of course I forgot to bring my camera with me :(  My finals preparations this quarter were a complete joke.  I hope I did okay, haha.. we'll see??  Amanda and I spent probably 3 hours with our notes open but talked about anything but instrumentation.  I turned in my final after an hour and thought I did pretty good for not studying and even then everyone was still furiously scribbling away.  DID I MISS SOMETHING??  I think my teacher would tell me if I completely missed a page of questions.  I couldn't stay anyways.  My stomach was starting to make noises and I KNEW it would only get louder.  (No operation make-him-fall-in-love-with-me update here)

I looooove when I go to Claremont and Angie's there and I don't expect it :D  It's the greatest surprise EVER.  And she just smiles when you smile at her.  Oh,she'sjustsoprecious:D  We didn't go running today, but it was so nice we played outside.  Jumping rope, hula hoop attempts, shooting hoops and a very intense game of 4-square.  Then we all headed over to Dominic's school for his open house.  My parents never went to my open houses, but I'm over that resentment, hehe.  AND I DO HAVE PICTURES!
(Chagall-inpsired 3rd grade art.... looks like phallic images to me)

(Robyn thought these were their counterparts)

After some good Claremont cooking, I met Marija & Dom at open mic.  It is nice to not have to worry about any studying. Which is only partly true, because I have yet to continue studying for my GRE's.  But geezus, crowded much???  A 2-teenager boy group brought their whole posse with them and they took up the whole floor area and even past the doorway.  All the girls had out their digital cameras recording.  I didn't judge, because that would totally be me.  I did judge the drummer who sets up and takes his stuff down while other people are performing.  I enjoy when he plays.  Maria and I always rock out.  But that's rude!  And he even messed up the mic when some guy was doing his poetry (pretty good btw, too bad he got interrupted).  I had my favorite pick tonight, but I can't find any videos or links of them.  I don't know if they actually had a band name or they just wrote down "the 3 of us".  But they'd be my favorite.

I'll leave it at that.
Merv out.
