Biggest Loser

Ugh, maybe signing up for a Mud Run wasn't the greatest idea.  Good thing I didn't agree to sign up for the 10k.

So, this morning I got David to go running with me at Bonelli Park.  I even warned him that I'm sooooort of, just a little bit, out of shape but he ran with me the whole time.  It's a nice trail to run because it's not flat the whole time.  There's plenty of inclines, which is a bitch to run up, but it's nice for training I guess.  We did 2 laps around, running through the park and near the lake.  I think if I can keep this up, I'll be able to run it without stopping.  I only say this because I've done it once upon a time before, after a week or two of training.  It didn't last long though, haha.  I could also tell when I got over my hump, or whatever they call it, and it wasn't so bad anymore (until David had us sprint to the car).  Anyways... the trail came out to be about 2 miles. Which means I just did 4 miles this morning.. *mini wave in celebration of me*

But man, I hate running.  Does aerobic endurance really have to be a component of physical fitness???  It's not like I run out of breath or anything.  My side didn't hurt at all this morning actually.  But my shins hurt.

It's week 2, and I should be running 30 minutes and be able to say no more than 2-3 words at a time.  I think I might be a little behind :/
